Reminder for McKinney-Vento Parents and Students: Free laundromat service will be available tonight (December 17th), from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Magic Wash Laundromat in Stamps. You must bring the Voucher-card that was mailed to your house to the laundromat to receive these services.
The Arkansas Council for Military Children surveys families in Arkansas annually to assess areas of need and to determine the general level of awareness of resources available to military families. We welcomed the Museum of Discovery from Little Rock, AR for two science exhibits for our K-6 students. Mr. Steven Lemp provided an excellent performance! Such a great way to end the week! #Proud2BeCougars

Big thanks to the students of LCHS National Honor Society, sponsored by Mrs. Hamilton, for hosting the Veterans Day program today (November 11th). Shout-Out to the LCHS Band and our 3rd Grade Choir for their performances. The biggest thank you goes to all of our area Veterans for their service to our country.

Lafayette County Elementary School will have a school assembly today at 1:30 P.M. inside the auditorium. Students will be recognized for their 1st nine weeks' awards, Halloween costume winners, and the Pumpkin Shine winners will be announced. Parents and community members are welcome to attend.
School will resume at normal time tomorrow, Friday, November 1st for both campuses.
Early dismissal today is District-wide, Elementary and High School campuses.
Due to unexpected electrical issues caused by recent storms at our High School campus, we will begin dismissing students at 11:00 for car riders and 11:15 for buses. Priority is always to ensure the safety of our students and staff. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding.
