Next week's schedule: Monday, December 18th - Early dismissal @ 3:00pm Tuesday, December 19th - Early dismissal @ 3:00pm Wednesday, December 20th - Early dismisal @ 2:00pm Semester tests will be given Monday and Tuesday at the High School for all students who are not exempt. Wednesday will be a testing make-up day. Please call the High School office if you have any questions concerning testing, 870-533-4464.

Reminder for K-6 Elementary Parents and Guardians: Our school district will host an Affordable Connectivity Program sign-up event today (December 13th) in the elementary cafeteria from 3:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. The ACP program allows households to save $30 dollars a month on their Internet bill. Since the elementary school is a CEP school for student breakfast and lunch (Every student eats free), every parent/guardian of a currently enrolled LCES student is automatically eligible to receive this service. Reminder for McKinney-Vento Parents and Students: Free laundromat service will be available tonight (December 12th), from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Magic Wash Laundromat in Stamps. You must bring the Voucher-card that was mailed to your house to the laundromat to receive these services.

Elementary Parents and Guardians: Do you want to save $30 dollars a month on your home internet bill? We will be hosting a registration event on Wednesday, December 13th, from 3:30 P.M.-5:30 P.M. The location will be inside the elementary cafeteria. Please see the attached letter for more information about the Affordable Connectivity Program.

Congratulations to Alyzia Devereaux for winning the "You Can at Arkansas" Scholarship in the amount of $3,000. This was a drawing for students who applied to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville by September 16th , and Alyzia was a winner!

Lafayette County High School will host their annual Veterans Day program on Friday, November 10th, at 10:00 A.M. inside Cougar Arena. All area Veterans and community members are invited to attend. Lunch will be served after the program.

Lafayette County High School will host "Family Night" on November 9th, from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. inside the cafeteria. Come join us for some: Activities, fun, food, and door prizes. ​

Beginning November 1st, Lafayette County High School will start offering after school Math tutoring on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. Tutoring is free for LCHS students. Transportation must be provided by the parent and/or student.

Mrs. House, LCES Parent Facilitator, has been preparing for the Elementary Fall Festival on November 7th, from 4:30 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. Thanks to area businesses for their donations: Cadence Bank (Door Prizes), C & C Packing (Door Prizes), Bodcaw Bank (Door Prizes), Burges (Door Prizes), S & S Home Center(Student Prizes), and Farmers Bank & Trust (Money to purchase refreshments). Mark your Calendar for the Elementary Fall Festival!

It's Red Ribbon Week! See each campuses' dress up days to participate! Parent Teacher Conferences will be this Thursday, the 26th from 3:30 to 7:30pm at each campus. Early dismissal will begin at 2:15pm. Have a great week!
