The first nine weeks/quarter ends this Friday (October 13th). Report Cards will be issued to students on October 20th. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on October 26th, from 3:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.

Our annual Title I meeting will be held next Tuesday (October 17th), from 4:30 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. The location will be at the school board building in Lewisville. The meeting will outline the purpose of Title I and explain how our District utilizes Title I funds. The public is invited to attend.

Reminder for McKinney-Vento Parents and Students: Free laundromat service is available tonight (October 10th), from 6:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M. at the Magic Wash Laundromat in Stamps. You must bring the Voucher-card that was mailed to your house to receive these services. The next opportunity for laundromat service will be October 24th.

9th Grade Parents!📣 There will be a parent meeting for all 9th grade students on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the High School Cafeteria. This is an informational meeting for parents or legal guardians of students enrolled in grade nine. Information regarding graduation requirements and curriculum choices will be discussed, as well as community service guidelines. For more information call 870-533-4464.

High School Students! 📣📣 Free/Reduced Applications are due today! Letters and applications were mailed out yesterday to students who have not turned in their free/reduced meal applications. Please fill out applications and send them back to the High School as soon as possible! Applications are due by September 15th. Failure to send in a new application may result in your student's free/reduced status being changed to paid or failure to receive any future P-EBT benefits. Only one application per family is needed. 📢 One application will be drawn at random to win $25.00 cash on September 22nd!!!!

Reminder for Grandparents: You are invited for Grandparent-Student Breakfast Day tomorrow (September 15th) at each school's cafeteria from 7:30 A.M. until 8:00 A.M. The High School will host Grandparent's Day Bingo tomorrow from 8:00 A.M. until 9:00 A.M. Coffee and muffins will be served. Bingo prizes will be awarded. The Grandparent Bingo location will be rotated each year between our 2 campuses.

Progress Reports will be sent home with students next Friday, September 15th. Parents may utilize the Home Access Center (HAC) website to see their child's grades, attendance, and discipline information. ATTENTION 7th GRADERS!! If you are interested in learning to play a band instrument and would like to be in the band, please come by the high school Bandroom Tuesday, July 25 anytime between 8:30 am till 12 noon. I’ll be glad to sign you up. Mr. Simmons, Band Director.

Congratulations to our Junior and Senior High Cougars for a fantastic time and performances at UCA- B2 Cheer Camp in Hot Springs! Both teams received a ton of trophies and medals based on their dance, cheers, chants, and attitude! Cosmo the Cougar earned superior ribbons and an attitude award! We are proud of you and we look forward to a great year ahead!
