Semester tests will be given Monday and Tuesday at the High School for all students who are not exempt. Wednesday will be a testing make-up day.

Reminder for K-6 Elementary Parents and Guardians: Our school district will host an Affordable Connectivity Program sign-up event today (December 13th) in the elementary cafeteria from 3:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. The ACP program allows households to save $30 dollars a month on their Internet bill. Since the elementary school is a CEP school for student breakfast and lunch (Every student eats free), every parent/guardian of a currently enrolled LCES student is automatically eligible to receive this service. Reminder for McKinney-Vento Parents and Students: Free laundromat service will be available tonight (December 12th), from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Magic Wash Laundromat in Stamps. You must bring the Voucher-card that was mailed to your house to the laundromat to receive these services.
Just a little reminder that all LCES transportation changes must be made by 2:30. Please make sure that the office staff has been notified of any changes by phone, note or email. This will help everyone to ensure that your child makes it home safely, and in a timely manner.
Elementary Parents and Guardians: Do you want to save $30 dollars a month on your home internet bill? We will be hosting a registration event on Wednesday, December 13th, from 3:30 P.M.-5:30 P.M. Shout-Out to Standard Lithium for their recent donation of supplies to be used at the Lafayette County Elementary Fall Festival (November 7th, 4:30 P.M.- 6:00 P.M.).
Lafayette County High School will host their annual Veterans Day program on Friday, November 10th, at 10:00 A.M. inside Cougar Arena. All area Veterans and community members are invited to attend. Lunch will be served after the program.
Beginning November 1st, Lafayette County Elementary School will start offering after school Math tutoring on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. Tutoring is free for LCES students. Transportation must be provided by the parent.

Mark your Calendar for the Elementary Fall Festival!
It's Red Ribbon Week! See each campuses' dress up days to participate! Parent Teacher Conferences will be this Thursday, the 26th from 3:30 to 7:30pm at each campus. Early dismissal will begin at 2:15pm. Have a great week!

The first nine weeks/quarter ends this Friday (October 13th). Report Cards will be issued to students on October 20th. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on October 26th, from 3:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.
Our annual Title I meeting will be held next Tuesday (October 17th), from 4:30 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. The location will be at the school board building in Lewisville. The meeting will outline the purpose of Title I and explain how our District utilizes Title I funds. The public is invited to attend.
