Big thanks to Standard Lithium for participating in Lafayette County High School's STEM night on November 14th. They provided students and guests with personalized coasters using their Laser engraving machines. They also provided several door prizes. Reminder for McKinney-Vento Parents and Students: Free laundromat service will be available tonight (November 12th), from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Magic Wash Laundromat in Stamps. You must bring the Voucher-card that was mailed to your house to the laundromat to receive these services.

Big thanks to the students of LCHS National Honor Society, sponsored by Mrs. Hamilton, for hosting the Veterans Day program today (November 11th). Shout-Out to the LCHS Band and our 3rd Grade Choir for their performances. The biggest thank you goes to all of our area Veterans for their service to our country.

Reminder for all Lafayette County Juniors and Seniors : November 8, 2024 is the last day to register to take the ACT Test that will be given on December 14, 2024. Please see Mrs. Lampkins for payment waivers.

The Lafayette County Elementary Fall Festival is tonight (November 4th) in the elementary gym. Students, parents, and community members are welcome to come-and-go between 4:30 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. Food, drinks, games, and several door prizes will be given out tonight!

People's Drug & Gifts recently donated Body Scrub and Shower Gel products to the Lafayette County Elementary School. The Southwest Arkansas Education Cooperative has provided area school districts with free access to the extra services from ParentGuidance.org for our parents and caregivers. This website provides parents with answers to their mental health questions. The extra services include: individual Parent Coaching sessions, Webinars on different topics, and Ask a Therapist Live workshops. A monthly calendar with schedules will be uploaded to our website and Facebook page.

Lafayette County Elementary School will have a school assembly today at 1:30 P.M. inside the auditorium. Students will be recognized for their 1st nine weeks' awards, Halloween costume winners, and the Pumpkin Shine winners will be announced. Parents and community members are welcome to attend.

Early dismissal today is District-wide, Elementary and High School campuses.

Due to unexpected electrical issues caused by recent storms at our High School campus, we will begin dismissing students at 11:00 for car riders and 11:15 for buses. Priority is always to ensure the safety of our students and staff. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding.
